Senior AWS IAM & Data Engineer (AWS)

Location: Hybrid role in Lafayette, Louisiana; Knoxville, Tennessee; Columbia, South Carolina; or Birmingham, Alabama, United States

Salary: $102,000–$178,000 annually

What you will do

• Configure and support AWS IAM Identity Center, permission sets, account assignments, account access, and identity federation.
• Integrate enterprise identity services across AWS accounts and cloud services.
• Develop and maintain data ingestion, transformation, ETL, and reporting workflows.
• Use AWS data services including Redshift, S3, Glue, Athena, and Lake Formation.
• Automate cloud, IAM, and data workflows and troubleshoot complex production issues.
• Collaborate with security, cloud, data, and application teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS IAM Identity Center and enterprise identity integrations.
• Strong knowledge of AWS IAM roles, policies, trust policies, permission boundaries, least-privilege access, and cross-account access.
• Hands-on experience with Redshift, S3, Glue, Athena, and Lake Formation.
• Experience with ETL and data pipelines using Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, or similar technologies.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with Python and/or Shell scripting.
• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation and a bachelor's degree in a related technical field.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services or another highly regulated enterprise environment.
