Information Systems Data Engineer (Python/SQL)

Salary: $90,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain a centralized SQL Server database and connected data model.
• Develop and operate Python/SQL ETL pipelines from NetSuite, Arena, ION, Jira, and other business systems.
• Build Power BI dashboards and reports for operational performance and KPI monitoring.
• Develop and support NetSuite customizations, including SuiteScripts, workflows, and saved searches.
• Partner with Operations, Finance, Engineering, and IT to gather requirements and deliver integrations and internal tools.
• Document systems and data flows while promoting data quality, governance, and change control.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, business systems, or a related technical role.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and data processing.
• Experience with GitLab, CI/CD processes, and building and maintaining ETL pipelines.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational database design and management.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or quantitative discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• NetSuite SuiteScript, workflows, saved searches, SuiteQL, or SuiteAnalytics experience.
• Microsoft SQL Server and Power BI experience, including data modeling and DAX.
• Experience with PLM, MES, or Jira data.
• Experience applying AI/LLM tools to data or systems work.
