AWS Infrastructure Project Manager

Location: Onsite in Lafayette, LA; Knoxville, TN; Birmingham, AL; or Columbia, SC, United States

Compensation: $95,000.00 per hour

What you will do

• Lead 4–5 concurrent, time-sensitive infrastructure projects in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Manage initiatives involving AWS, cloud infrastructure, enterprise infrastructure, databases, networking, security, and system integrations.
• Develop project roadmaps, schedules, milestones, implementation plans, dashboards, and executive reports.
• Track risks, issues, dependencies, blockers, remediation activities, and project status across multiple technical and business teams.
• Assess infrastructure-change impacts across upstream and downstream systems and communicate them to stakeholders.
• Facilitate meetings, office hours, follow-ups, escalations, and occasional weekend support activities.

Requirements

• 4–6+ years of infrastructure or technical project management experience in a large enterprise environment.
• Experience leading infrastructure-focused projects rather than traditional application-development or SDLC projects.
• Working knowledge of AWS, cloud infrastructure, networking, databases, security, enterprise infrastructure, and technical dependencies.
• Strong project scheduling, milestone planning, risk management, issue tracking, dependency management, escalation, and remediation skills.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience creating dashboards and reports with Power BI.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with strong stakeholder communication and coordination abilities.

Nice to have

• PMP certification.
• AWS Associate-level certification or equivalent hands-on AWS infrastructure experience.
