Solutions Architect (Matrix)

Location: Fully remote, candidates must be based in the UK only

Salary: £75,000–£85,000 per year

hirify.global develops a sovereign, interoperable, and secure open-source communications platform based on Matrix for government, defence, and public sector organisations.

What you will do

• Support Account Executives during sales cycles with technical expertise, product demonstrations, architecture reviews, and technical deep-dives.
• Lead discovery conversations, solution sizing, integration guidance, technical validation, RFP responses, and formal proposals.
• Design customer solutions using Matrix and hirify.global’s technology stack.
• Own technical delivery from requirements gathering through deployment, including installation, configuration, scaling, and integration.
• Manage implementation scope, risks, and timelines while coordinating customer needs with hirify.global’s product roadmap.
• Improve documentation and internal delivery processes.

Requirements

• Fluent English at C1+ level.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong understanding of modern infrastructure, including Linux, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Working knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL and SQL.
• Familiarity with directory services and authentication, including LDAP, AD, OIDC, and SSO.
• Experience in technical roles serving enterprise or government clients, plus familiarity with scripting or programming, web technologies, client/server architecture, and Git.

Nice to have

• Fluency in German, French, or another European language.
• Experience with VoIP, end-to-end encryption, decentralised systems, or open-source projects.
• Experience with the UK or US public sector and UK Security Clearance.
• Knowledge of iOS, Android, or mobile device management technologies.
