Senior Claims Rep Bodily Injury (Insurance)

Location: Fully remote from the USA; applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Salary: $75,000–$80,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage an inventory of bodily injury and property and casualty claims.
• Investigate claims to confirm coverage, liability, compensability, and damages.
• Determine and negotiate settlements and reserves within assigned authority.
• Attend arbitrations, mediations, depositions, or trials when required.
• Communicate coverage and settlement information to insureds, claimants, and external partners.
• Authorize timely payments and maintain complete claim files and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, risk management and insurance, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience handling property and casualty claims.
• Strong knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, claims procedures, industry laws, and regulations.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize caseloads, resolve claims promptly, and handle confidential information discreetly.
• Authorization to work in the United States without current or future employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Completion of or progress toward a professional designation such as Associate in Claims (AIC).
