TL;DR
Senior Manager - Business Platforms (SaaS/Enterprise Applications): Leading and strategically developing a business platform organization supporting Workday, Salesforce, Medius, e-invoicing solutions, SmartRecruiters, and other business-critical applications with an accent on scalable operating models, portfolio governance, and people leadership. Focus on building high-performing teams, improving application lifecycle management, aligning senior stakeholders, and strengthening vendor partnerships.
Location: Hybrid role with regular on-site presence in Cologne, Germany or Sevenum/Venlo, Netherlands; candidates in the wider Rhine-Ruhr region are also welcome. This is not a fully remote position.

What you will do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of more than 10 technology professionals.
- Build a scalable operating model with clear ownership, responsibilities, career paths, succession options, and backup structures.
- Steer the portfolio and lifecycle of business-critical platforms, including initiatives, releases, changes, service quality, operational readiness, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with HR, Finance, Sales, Enterprise Systems, Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, Product, and IT Transformation stakeholders.
- Establish governance and service expectations with software vendors, implementation partners, and external service providers.
Requirements
- Several years of leadership experience in IT, Enterprise Applications, Business Applications, SaaS Platforms, or Enterprise Systems.
- Experience developing technology professionals and building high-performing teams in a growing or transforming organization.
- Broad understanding of enterprise application landscapes, including business-critical SaaS and off-the-shelf applications, application lifecycle management, integrations, APIs, and service management.
- Experience improving operating models, governance, and application-management processes while working with senior stakeholders and vendors.
- Fluent English is required.
