Engineering Team Lead (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of approximately 4–10 frontend and backend engineers.
• Set the technical direction and architecture for the team’s domain.
• Ensure the team builds, ships, and operates reliable, high-quality production software.
• Make pragmatic decisions on product delivery, technical debt, reliability, and long-term technical investments.
• Contribute hands-on through architecture, code reviews, complex technical problem-solving, and incident response.
• Collaborate with Product and other Engineering teams to align priorities, dependencies, and outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or an equivalent record of technical excellence.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience with a strong track record of shipping production software.
• 3+ years of experience leading and developing software engineers and providing technical direction.
• Strong fundamentals in system design, architecture, code quality, testing, and reliability.
• Experience making architectural and technical decisions for complex software products.
• Fluent English required; German is a plus.

• Full-stack experience or the ability to work confidently across frontend and backend.
