Intern (f/m/d) AI Automation for Safety Engineering (AI)

What you will do

• Develop AI-based solutions for engineering and documentation workflow automation.
• Test tools that generate and maintain safety-related work products.
• Apply Large Language Models and Generative AI to requirements, analyses, and technical documentation.
• Build scripts and applications for data processing, document generation, and workflow automation.
• Support the integration of AI tools into existing engineering processes.
• Evaluate the quality, consistency, and traceability of AI-generated outputs.

Requirements

• M.Sc. student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with Pandas, NumPy, APIs, automation frameworks, and Git.
• Basic knowledge of Machine Learning and Large Language Models.
• Ability to work with structured and unstructured data.
• Reliable and conscientious working style for security-related tasks and work within security certification scope.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI, Azure AI, or similar AI platforms.
• Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation, knowledge graphs, vector databases, or semantic search.
• Experience with document automation in Word, Excel, or PowerPoint.
