ML Research Intern (Agentic Runtime Systems) (ML/Agentic Systems): Building reliable runtime systems that turn probabilistic LLM generation into deterministic workers for multi-step tasks with an accent on verification layers, constrained execution, and context preservation. Focus on designing error-resistant agent loops, implementing self-correction and guardrails, and optimizing KV-cache hit rates and restorable compression strategies.
Location: 100% remote, or hybrid in Bremen, Sofia, Belgrade, Istanbul, Sakarya, or Singapore. Hybrid work requires 2 days in the office and 3 days remotely; remote work is also available in locations without company offices.

What you will do
- Design agentic runtime loops that remain reliable across long, multi-step tasks.
- Build verification layers that detect hallucinations and enable agent self-correction.
- Implement constraint-compilation systems enforced through constrained decoding or external execution.
- Optimize KV-cache hit rates and develop restorable compression strategies to prevent attention decay.
- Build robust Python or Rust software around raw model output.
- Analyze long traces of failed agent loops to identify context drift and reliability failures.
Requirements
- Systems-thinking approach with knowledge of machine learning.
- Interest in state machines, retries, idempotency, serialization, and other reliability engineering practices.
- Practical experience with Python or Rust.
- Understanding of deterministic guardrails, inference economics, and agent runtime behavior.
- English resume required.
