Senior Trademark Paralegal

hirify.global Assist provides managed trademark support to law firms and corporate intellectual property departments as an extension of their teams.

What you will do

• Conduct knockout and comprehensive trademark clearance searches across U.S. federal, state, and common law records using Corsearch, CompuMark, TM TKO, or similar platforms.
• Prepare search reports with risk analysis and prosecution recommendations, including coordination of international searches through foreign associates.
• Draft USPTO Office Action responses and prepare and file trademark applications, statements of use, extensions, renewals, maintenance filings, and Letters of Protest.
• Monitor application statuses and deadlines, coordinate with attorneys on strategy, and maintain accurate records in hirify.global and client systems.
• Support TTAB oppositions, cancellations, enforcement research, cease-and-desist correspondence, document productions, chronologies, watch notices, and infringement summaries.
• Manage multiple client trademark portfolios and communicate directly with clients and foreign associates regarding status, strategy, and deadlines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of trademark paralegal experience in a law firm or IP services environment.
• Hands-on experience drafting Office Action responses, including refusals on substantive grounds.
• Experience conducting and interpreting trademark clearance searches.
• Familiarity with USPTO procedures, TMEP guidelines, and TTAB rules.
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to draft clearly with minimal attorney revision.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and client matters in a remote, technology-forward environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with international trademark prosecution and foreign associates.
• Experience supporting TTAB matters or other intellectual property litigation.
• Familiarity with time-tracking and project management tools such as Harvest or ClickUp.
• Paralegal certificate or relevant undergraduate degree.
