Associate Paralegal

Location: Flexible on-site placement in Carlsbad or Boston, United States, or remote placement.

Salary: $69,325–$92,303 per year.

What you will do

• Draft and review commercial agreements, master services agreements, scopes of work, and consulting agreements using company templates.
• Manage negotiations and revisions through agreement completion while protecting company interests.
• Monitor compliance with executed agreements.
• Build trusted relationships with legal counsel, internal stakeholders, and external parties.
• Answer internal questions about executed agreements and support other legal matters as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• California Paralegal Certificate or an ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate Program.
• 5+ years of paralegal experience supporting life sciences companies.
• Experience drafting, negotiating, and managing commercial, master services, scope-of-work, and consulting agreements.
• Clear verbal and written communication, strong emotional intelligence, and the ability to manage competing priorities independently.
• For on-site placement, work from the Carlsbad or Boston office; remote placement is also available.
