Forward Deployed AI Engineer (all genders)

Location: Remote; willingness to travel within the DACH region and other European countries required

What you will do

• Identify, design, and implement AI use cases with internal stakeholders.
• Develop, prototype, and enhance LLM-based applications using technologies such as the OpenAI API.
• Design and implement AI agents with tool-calling and multi-step workflows.
• Build and optimize RAG pipelines, including data integration and embeddings.
• Integrate AI functionality into existing systems through APIs and evaluate applications through testing, prompt engineering, and output optimization.
• Monitor new models, frameworks, and best practices while documenting and scaling technical solutions.

Requirements

• Completed degree in computer science, AI, data science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Several years of professional experience developing software or AI solutions, ideally in corporate consulting.
• Strong programming skills, particularly in Python, as well as experience with APIs, data processing, and system integration.
• Practical experience with AI and LLMs, including prompt engineering and production applications.
• Experience with RAG, embeddings, agent systems, and deploying cloud-native applications on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP.
• Business-level German and English proficiency required; willingness to travel in the DACH region and other European countries required.
