Senior Corporate Counsel, Patient Support Services and Diagnostic Testing (Pharmaceutical Healthcare)

Location: Morristown, New Jersey, with a hybrid work arrangement; available to US and Puerto Rico residents only

Salary: $178,500–$257,833.33 per year

What you will do

• Provide primary legal support for patient support services and diagnostic testing programs.
• Draft, negotiate, and finalize contracts for free drug, copay, reimbursement, and diagnostic testing programs.
• Advise commercial teams on program design, launch, operations, patient assistance, risk mitigation, and customer interactions.
• Review external materials and coordinate privacy and compliance initiatives with the US Privacy Office and Ethics & Business Integrity.
• Assess initiatives, advisory boards, and field activities for fraud and abuse, FDA, Anti-Kickback Statute, and other regulatory risks.
• Develop compliance training and collaborate with sales, medical, regulatory, finance, manufacturing, pharmacovigilance, and external affairs teams.

Requirements

• JD and a license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction; New Jersey or Massachusetts admission preferred.
• At least 7 years of legal experience, preferably including law firm and in-house pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device experience.
• Experience working in a matrixed, international environment.
• Strong knowledge of US pharmaceutical laws, including the False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, competition laws, and patient support regulations.
• Understanding of the US healthcare system, reimbursement, patient access, privacy, and diagnostic testing requirements.
• Strong contract drafting, negotiation, communication, organization, judgment, and outside counsel management skills.
