PLC Automation Engineer

What you will do

• Develop and implement PLC software for industrial automation applications.
• Install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC-based automation systems.
• Perform offshore fieldwork and resolve technical issues in maritime environments.
• Analyze production systems and propose improvements to efficiency and productivity.
• Prepare technical documentation, operating manuals, and training materials.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, customers, and other specialists on complex projects.

Requirements

• Degree or vocational training in automation engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a comparable field.
• Several years of professional experience in PLC programming and practical experience with machine and system controls.
• Knowledge of electrical drive technology and HMI systems.
• Experience with PLC programming environments such as CODESYS, Siemens S7, or Beckhoff TwinCAT.
• Fluent German and good English language skills required.
• Independent, meticulous, reliable, adaptable, and collaborative working style, with willingness to travel worldwide.
