EMEA Application Technology Engineer (Flexible Laminates)

Location: Meyrin, Geneva; France, Luxembourg, or Germany. The role requires domestic and international travel.

What you will do

• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, including product solutions, presentations, troubleshooting, and customer escalations.
• Work with sales teams to identify customer needs, develop technical solutions, and contribute to proposals and sales strategies.
• Support customer integration, configuration, and optimization of flexible laminate products, including FCCL, coverlays, and polyimide films.
• Deliver product training for customers and internal teams and create technical documentation, application notes, and white papers.
• Analyze customer feedback and product performance data to support product development and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with product management, manufacturing, operations, and quality teams, including during customer audits and technical reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, chemical, electrical, materials science engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in applications engineering, field application engineering, or a similar technical support role in the electronics industry.
• Strong understanding of electronic components, circuits, and systems, with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with a strong customer focus.
• Fluency in English and German and/or French is required.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally is required.
