What you will do

• Lead architecture, modernisation and innovation across a mature enterprise-scale Azure environment.
• Develop roadmaps covering applications, integration, data, AI, security and cost optimisation.
• Design secure-by-design solutions using Zero Trust, ISM/PSPF alignment and the Azure Well-Architected Framework.
• Guide responsible adoption of data, analytics and AI capabilities, including Microsoft Foundry and Copilot.
• Lead executive and technical workshops, present to architecture review boards and guide cross-domain teams.
• Drive platform engineering, DevSecOps and reusable infrastructure-as-code patterns.

Requirements

• Extensive enterprise Azure architecture experience in complex, regulated environments.
• Proven delivery of cloud modernisation from strategy through production.
• Strong knowledge of Azure governance, security, networking and identity at scale.
• Experience with ISM, PSPF, Essential Eight and government assurance requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management across executive and engineering audiences.
• Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain Baseline security clearance are required.

Nice to have

• AZ-305 Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification is strongly preferred.
• AZ-500, AZ-700, AZ-400 or TOGAF certifications are advantageous.
