Solution Architect (Fintech)

What you will do

• Translate business and product requirements into scalable solution designs covering components, data flows, integrations, and non-functional requirements.
• Own target-state and reference architecture across loan origination, credit decisioning, settlements, broker and aggregator channels, and customer applications.
• Design secure, reliable API-led and event-driven integrations with brokers, aggregators, and third-party providers.
• Align ATLAS and other AI capabilities with core systems, architectural standards, governance, cost, and observability requirements.
• Evaluate vendors and platforms, lead design reviews, document architecture decisions, and coach engineers.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to sequence delivery, manage dependencies, and design for performance, resilience, observability, and cost.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in solution, enterprise, or technical architecture.
• Experience designing and delivering distributed, cloud-based systems on a major platform such as AWS.
• Strong knowledge of API design, integration patterns, event-driven architecture, and third-party systems.
• Understanding of security, data privacy, resilience, and compliance in regulated environments.
• Exposure to AI- and LLM-enabled systems and their integration with core platforms.
• Clear communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to executives, product teams, and engineers.

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated fintech, lending, or financial services.
• Experience with loan origination, credit decisioning, broker, or aggregator platforms.
