Senior Air Planning Associate (Air Freight)

What you will do

• Manage capacity and fulfillment for charter flights and blocked-space agreements with carriers and partners.
• Optimize margins by consolidating shipments, generating free weight, and meeting customer service levels.
• Coordinate shipment movement with carriers, terminals, partners, Air Pricing, Operations, and local stakeholders.
• Maintain consolidation plans linking flight schedules and buy rates to shipments.
• Manage daily operations, excess blocked-space volume, ad-hoc capacity procurement, and exceptional cases.
• Work with the tech team on Air Planning Tool enhancements and process-improvement projects.

Requirements

• BA or BS degree.
• 5+ years of experience in air freight forwarding or logistics.
• Proven success in an operational or planning role.
• Strong analytical skills and full mastery of tools such as Excel and Looker.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to challenge existing processes using logic and reason.
• Strategic vision combined with strong execution skills.
