Data and Product Operations Lead (AI)

Location: New York, New York, United States; Workplace: Hybrid

Base salary: $135,000–$175,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Own audio and voice data sets from conception through delivery, treating data as a product.
• Partner with product, research, engineering, and deployment teams to define data set goals.
• Manage projects on the data platform, including speaker onboarding and quality assurance coordination.
• Collaborate with engineering on bug fixes, noise reduction, and automation.
• Work with researchers and ML engineers to understand and improve data performance in model training.
• Join customer-facing meetings when required by the project.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in consulting, strategy and operations, or intensive operations roles.
• Strong generalist abilities with the flexibility to work across functions and adapt as priorities change.
• Ability to sustain intense work periods in an output-focused environment.
• Curious, humble, and low-ego working style.
• Ability to maintain a high quality bar, prioritizing quality over speed and volume.

Nice to have

• Background in private equity or investment banking.
• MBB consulting experience with a strong promotion trajectory.
• Experience in two-sided marketplaces, heavy-operations companies, or early-stage startups.
