Privacy Implementation Lead (AdTech)

Location: Remote-first; candidates must be located in Canada or the United States

Base salary: CAD $114,400–$157,300 in Canada; USD $125,600–$172,700 in the United States. Additional compensation may include bonuses, commissions, equity awards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Translate privacy obligations and legal guidance into business and technical requirements with clear owners, dependencies, deadlines, and implementation steps.
• Coordinate privacy initiatives with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Security, and other technical teams.
• Document data flows, system dependencies, storage practices, deletion workflows, suppression, retention, and data use.
• Implement and monitor privacy controls across digital properties, advertising technologies, and data collection practices.
• Manage privacy, tracking, compliance, governance, and workflow tools, including third-party tracking technology testing tools.
• Test privacy controls and establish repeatable intake, backlog management, reporting, and quality assurance processes using AI and automation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in privacy operations, privacy implementation, technical program management, product operations, compliance operations, legal operations, data governance, or a related field.
• Experience working with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Security, or other technical teams.
• Strong project management, communication, documentation, attention to detail, and judgment.
• Ability to understand data flows, APIs, pixels, tags, consent signals, databases, deletion workflows, retention, and system integrations.
• Familiarity with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, U.S. state privacy laws, consent, opt-outs, data deletion, retention, and privacy by design.
• Experience implementing privacy, compliance, tracking, governance, or technical workflow tools, plus practical use of AI or automation for operational efficiency or quality assurance.

Nice to have

• Experience in advertising technology, marketing technology, data platforms, measurement, tracking, or another technically complex environment.
• Experience supporting pixels, tags, tracking technologies, or client-facing digital properties.
• Experience implementing a third-party tracking technology testing or governance tool.
• Familiarity with hirify.global products, systems, or infrastructure.
