Business Development Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Identify, prospect, and acquire merchants across e-commerce, retail, hospitality, online travel, healthcare, and education.
• Develop business development strategies to achieve merchant acquisition, transaction volume, and revenue targets.
• Build and manage relationships with merchants, strategic partners, financial institutions, and industry stakeholders.
• Conduct market research, pricing reviews, competitor analysis, and industry trend assessments.
• Develop sales pipelines and growth plans, including upselling and cross-selling payment solutions.
• Coordinate with Product, Technology, and Development teams on payment innovations, integrations, commercial implementation, and merchant onboarding.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, key account management, partnership management, or merchant acquisition.
• Experience in payment gateways, merchant acquiring, fintech, banking, card payments, EDC/POS terminals, or e-commerce is highly preferred.
• Proven success in acquiring merchants and delivering commercial growth.
• Strong knowledge of payment gateways, acquiring, EDC/POS terminals, QR payments, cards, and e-wallets.
• Fluent English and Thai are required.
