What you will do

• Define and develop inspection system concepts, architectures, configurations, and requirements.
• Design and execute statistically sound experiments; collect, analyze, and interpret data.
• Engineer, design, qualify, and validate modules and sub-modules for advanced inspection and metrology systems.
• Develop inspection and metrology solutions for emerging substrate technologies and applications.
• Troubleshoot complex system-level issues, support physics-related challenges, and provide expertise to customers and field teams.
• Lead or contribute to project planning, feasibility studies, risk management, vendor selection, technology evaluation, and mentoring of junior physicists and scientists.

Requirements

• Advanced degree, PhD or MSc, in Physics or a related field.
• Strong analytical, experimental, and statistical data analysis skills.
• Ability to solve complex technical problems and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication skills for working with internal teams, customers, and external partners.
• Experience in system design, metrology, or inspection technologies is advantageous.
• Work is based in Benicia, California, United States.
