What you will do

  • Develop and execute high-fidelity thermodynamic, transport, and spectroscopic material measurements.
  • Create rapid, high-throughput property measurement schemes to accelerate characterization.
  • Collaborate with the AI team to implement automated data analysis and reasoning pipelines.
  • Work with engineering teams to develop autonomous property characterization systems using robotics.

Requirements

  • PhD in Physics, Materials Science, or a related field with 5+ years of hands-on experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in physical property characterization including electronic and magnetic measurements.
  • Strong background in cryogenic measurements and low-noise instrumentation techniques.
  • Track record of impactful research through top-tier publications or inventions.
  • Proficiency in data analysis using Python and Jupyter notebooks.

Nice to have

  • Experience with the automation of physical property measurements.
  • Background in computational prediction and experimental characterization design loops.
  • Experience with lab buildout, process safety, and handling large-scale data.
