Senior Principal DevOps Engineer (AI Security)

Location: Remote within the United States of America; listed locations include Field-CA BAY and Field-WA SEA.

Annual base pay: $259,200.00–$388,800.00.

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable AWS cloud architectures for a Generative AI security platform.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate reliable feature delivery.
• Manage Kubernetes and other containerized workloads for efficient resource use and application scalability.
• Implement and operate serverless architectures to improve flexibility and cost efficiency.
• Build monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue detection and resolution.
• Apply security best practices and compliance standards across cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and managing AWS infrastructure for scalable applications.
• Expertise with AWS services, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, AWS Lambda, and observability tools such as Datadog.
• Experience with DevOps practices in a B2B SaaS environment.
• Ability to lead projects with minimal guidance, solve complex problems, and integrate feedback.
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Must be eligible to work remotely from the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with service meshes, API Gateway, MongoDB administration and optimization, and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Go, TypeScript, or Python.
