Senior Manager, DevOps (AI)

Location: Fully remote, but candidates must reside in and perform work from Arizona, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, New Jersey, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, or Wisconsin.

Salary: $180,000–$205,000 per year, plus equity stock options. Final compensation depends on experience, skills, certifications, and work location.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, hire, and grow a team of Platform and DevOps engineers while remaining hands-on.
• Own the AWS platform, including infrastructure as code, Kubernetes, CI/CD, environments, observability, incident response, and cloud costs.
• Lead the Agentic Software Development Lifecycle, including safe and aligned use of coding agents and LLM tooling.
• Enable automated verification and embedded testing across web and mobile products.
• Build deployment environments and CI pipelines that support rapid agent-generated change.
• Measure and improve delivery performance, including CI, code review, and QA cycle times, while aligning platform roadmap and investment decisions with engineering and product leaders.

Requirements

• Hands-on Platform or DevOps engineering experience combined with people management and leadership through on-call, incident response, platform growth, and AI transformation.
• Deep production experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Postgres across large web and mobile applications.
• Experience integrating coding agents and LLM tooling into software lifecycles, including CI integration, evaluation, guardrails, and cost control.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, regression testing platforms, automated testing, delivery metrics, and reliability metrics.
• Clear written communication skills, including proposals and decision records in a remote, asynchronous environment.
• Work authorization is not stated, but work must be performed from one of the specified US states.
