AI First iOS Software Engineer (Remote)

Location: Remote, United States

Annual salary: $85,000–$125,000 USD, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and other relevant factors.

What you will do

• Implement and scale iOS features primarily with modern SwiftUI across buyer and seller marketplace experiences.
• Ship feature-flagged work and meet dual-OS pull request quality gates with support from senior engineers.
• Use AI tools for coding, refactoring, testing, debugging, documentation, and reducing repetitive engineering work.
• Verify AI-generated outputs before merging and maintain production-ready engineering standards.
• Collaborate with Product, design, backend, platform, QA, and Android engineers on shared product behavior.
• Take growing end-to-end ownership of feature reliability and operational health.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional iOS development experience or equivalent depth.
• Proficiency in Swift and experience building applications with SwiftUI; willingness to work with existing UIKit code.
• Experience shipping at least one App Store application.
• Experience with basic networking, MVVM or similar application architecture, feature flags, mobile analytics, code review, CI, and testing.
• AI-first mindset with active use of AI development tools and critical evaluation of their outputs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Snapshot testing experience.
• Exposure to SPM modules and shared UI component libraries.
• Marketplace or e-commerce mobile experience.
• Interest in growing ownership of authentication, feature flags, and analytics.
• Familiarity with hybrid WebView surfaces.
