Senior iOS Engineer (Swift)

Location: Hybrid work with occasional in-person attendance required. Primary residence must be in or near an approved city in the United States, Canada, or Mexico.

Salary: USD 124,000–221,500 annually in the United States; CAD 159,000–198,500 annually in Canada.

What you will do

• Own iOS technical direction across the Everand and hirify.global apps.
• Build subscription management, paywall, in-app purchase, cancellation, and retention features.
• Implement StoreKit and StoreKit 2 flows and run A/B experiments tied to revenue and retention.
• Partner with backend, web, and Android engineers on shared subscription systems.
• Improve app stability, reduce technical debt, and migrate code to newer technologies.
• Mentor engineers and lead complex technical initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience shipping public iOS apps, including consumer apps at scale.
• Strong Swift skills with deep experience in SwiftUI and UIKit.
• Experience working with mature codebases containing Objective-C.
• Experience building subscription or in-app purchase features with StoreKit and understanding applicable App Store rules.
• Experience designing, building, and consuming REST APIs; GraphQL experience is useful.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead technical initiatives collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Experience with subscription systems, payments, paywalls, trials, cancellation and save flows, or win-back features.
• Experience with experimentation platforms such as Statsig and product analytics.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, JSON, Ruby on Rails, Auth0, or similar authentication frameworks.
• Experience collaborating with Android and web teams.
