AI Applied Software Engineer (iOS) (AI/Swift): Developing and maintaining Backbase Digital Banking mobile products and reusable iOS frameworks with an accent on AI-assisted delivery, Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, API/ABI design, and backward compatibility. Focus on building production-ready components, designing testable interfaces, and ensuring accessibility, security, performance, and reliable integration across cross-functional Scrum teams.
Location: Krakow, Poland; hybrid work combining remote work with the Kraków office

What you will do
- Maintain and extend the mobile product offering for Digital Banking.
- Use AI coding assistants, LLM workflows, and automated tooling to accelerate feature development across UI, backend services, and APIs.
- Build production-ready Swift features and reusable UIKit, SwiftUI, and Design System components.
- Design APIs and frameworks with backward compatibility for developers building mobile applications.
- Create testable components and maintain iOS accessibility, security, and performance standards.
- Collaborate autonomously in a cross-functional Scrum squad with UX, QA, and Product Managers.
Requirements
- Professional experience designing and building iOS applications.
- At least one iOS application published on the App Store.
- Experience with Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
- Ability to work within an Agile and Scrum environment.
- Commitment to clean, testable, and maintainable code.
Nice to have
- Experience with TDD and unit testing.
- Experience with continuous integration tools such as Bitrise or GitHub Actions.
