Software Engineer (iOS)

Location: Hybrid in Los Angeles or Palo Alto, California, United States

What you will do

• Contribute to the architecture, design, and implementation of consumer-facing features in the iOS application.
• Build in-app experiences for millions of users and collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams on the product roadmap.
• Develop internal shared frameworks, libraries, and data tools for analytics and data science teams.
• Evolve the application architecture to support multiple authentication flows and account management.
• Mentor, collaborate with, and learn from other engineers in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience building consumer-facing applications with native iOS.
• Full life-cycle application development experience with Swift and strong knowledge of structs, optionals, and generics.
• Experience with Auto Layout, MVVM or Clean architecture, iOS memory management, and protocol-oriented programming.
• Experience building and testing large-scale iOS applications or codebases, including writing unit tests.
• Clear, solutions-oriented communication and willingness to collaborate in Scrum-based Agile processes.

Nice to have

• Experience building public APIs and mobile SDKs.
• Knowledge of URLSession, Core Data, Core Animation, StoreKit, or in-app purchases.
• Experience improving legacy code and implementing premium mobile features.
• A BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering.
