Senior Fullstack Engineer (AI)

Location: Flexible working with hybrid and remote options. Office hubs are located in Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester, London and Bulgaria, with occasional travel to client sites or CreateFuture offices when needed.

What you will do

• Design, build and maintain scalable, secure and resilient backend systems in Go and responsive frontends in React.
• Lead technical design, architectural discussions and delivery across multiple client initiatives.
• Develop RESTful and gRPC APIs with strong attention to security, versioning, performance and reliability.
• Champion clean code, automated testing, documentation, code reviews and engineering excellence.
• Mentor engineers through coaching, pairing and constructive feedback.
• Research AI capabilities and emerging technologies, and promote automation that improves delivery.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with Go, including concurrency, interfaces, error handling, generics and performance profiling.
• Professional experience with React, TypeScript, hooks-based development and frontend state management.
• Experience designing microservices, distributed systems, REST APIs, gRPC and Protocol Buffers.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, query optimisation, messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ, and authentication with OAuth2, OIDC and JWT.
• Experience with Docker, AWS, CI/CD, Git, observability tooling and comprehensive unit, integration and functional testing.
• Ability to lead technical discussions, translate client challenges into practical solutions and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
