Full Stack Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Manchester or London, United Kingdom; at least 50% of working time per month must be spent in the office. New starters initially work full-time from the office.

What you will do

• Architect, build, deploy, and maintain APIs, web applications, data layers, and third-party integrations.
• Develop full-stack features within a product-aligned, cross-functional Agile squad.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, Business, mobile, and web colleagues to design and pilot customer-focused solutions.
• Apply a build-it, run-it, own-it DevOps approach from idea through production.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and engineering excellence across core services supporting apps and websites.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience developing web applications and APIs.
• Experience with Node.js and TypeScript, React, PHP, .NET Core, MongoDB, and/or SQL.
• Experience developing HTTP-based APIs, RESTful services, and GraphQL.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with Jenkins and/or CodePipeline.
• Experience with test-driven development, containerisation, Docker, ECS or Kubernetes, and AWS cloud solutions.
• Ability to collaborate with product and business stakeholders, understand technical and non-technical requirements, and maintain a strong focus on user experience and web performance.
