Software Engineer (Golang)

Location: Remote (United Kingdom); in-person interview required. Quarterly one- to two-day team offsites are held in person.

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate mission-critical platform services for policy definition, real-time decisions, and dynamic changes across millions of identities.
• Develop high-performance Golang code and resilient microservices deployed on AWS.
• Build full-stack features using Angular and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with distributed engineering and data science teams on AI-driven policy features.
• Improve distributed cloud architectures, database performance, CI/CD pipelines, and platform reliability.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation of approximately one week in 20.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 2 years of professional software development experience.
• Backend development experience with Golang, scalable microservices, and SaaS solutions.
• Frontend experience with Angular or modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
• Strong understanding of unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, debugging, AWS, and distributed cloud data stores.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines such as Jenkins or CloudBees, plus availability for scheduled 24x7 on-call support.
