Vice President, Program Management & PMO (Biopharmaceutical)

Location: Hybrid role based out of the Bridgewater, New Jersey office, with remote work available most of the time and in-person collaboration as needed. Travel: 20–25% for meetings.

Salary: $278,000–$380,000 annual.

What you will do

• Lead, develop, and mentor the Program Management and PMO organization across research, development, and commercial functions.
• Build program management operations and establish a single source of truth for portfolio data and reporting.
• Partner with program and functional leaders to create integrated resource plans, identify gaps, and recommend resource allocations.
• Align corporate strategy with R&D and commercialization initiatives, including program prioritization and launch excellence.
• Set program goals, monitor timelines and operational performance, and communicate risks, mitigation strategies, and progress.
• Improve ways of working and reporting through operational excellence, data automation, and AI.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of senior management experience in the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Extensive program management experience across integrated, interdisciplinary functions, including direct program execution.
• Strong executive leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and strategic decision-making skills.
• Experience leading in a matrixed environment and developing high-performing teams.
• Deep understanding of the biopharmaceutical landscape and experience in research and development, technical operations, commercial, or portfolio strategy.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience defining and operationalizing commercial launch excellence strategy.
