Manager, Product Program Management (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY; hybrid work with staff expected to be in an Anthropic office at least 25% of the time

Annual salary: $365,000 USD

What you will do

• Set the charter and priorities for Product Program Management and determine which cross-functional programs to launch or scale.
• Build partnerships across Product, Engineering, GTM, Finance, Legal, and other functions.
• Lead managers and program managers across commercialization, community and executive escalations, and marketplace operations.
• Build a generalist program management team that incubates new programs and transitions mature operations to long-term owners.
• Define program success metrics and report results through regular business reviews with Product leadership.
• Coach direct reports and support their career development.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in program management, business operations, or a related field, ideally in a high-growth technology company.
• 5+ years of people management experience, including managing managers.
• Experience building programs from 0 to 1 and scaling them into durable operations.
• Experience with commercial launches, billing and pricing operations, or marketplace and developer platform operations.
• Strong prioritization, cross-functional influence, executive communication, and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Nice to have

• Experience partnering with engineering teams to replace manual operational work with tooling and automation.
• Experience in more than one of commercial launches, billing and pricing operations, or marketplace and developer platform operations.
