Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote, with a London office and WeWork access. Salary is based on London; other locations may vary.

Salary: £130,000 per year.

What you will do

• Own product features end to end, from scoping and design input through launch, iteration, and impact measurement.
• Build full-stack features with TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js, including APIs and data models.
• Work with Product and Design to shape the roadmap, challenge assumptions, and identify the simplest path to value.
• Build AI-powered experiences for chat, content generation, personalisation, and moderation.
• Experiment with LLMs, embeddings, and AI integrations in real user workflows.
• Use creator feedback, support insights, and product metrics to guide iteration and contribute to technical standards, code reviews, and mentoring.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience building and regularly shipping user-facing products.
• Production experience with TypeScript and React, plus strong API and backend experience with Node.js.
• Experience with REST, GraphQL, Next.js API routes, or similar backend technologies.
• Strong product sense with examples of owning features and delivering measurable outcomes.
• Experience in fast-moving startups or scale-ups, with a high-agency approach to ambiguous problems.
• Fluency with AI coding assistants and interest in building with LLMs.

Nice to have

• Experience using tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Copilot to accelerate development.
• Experience building products for creators, fans, or other large user communities.
