Product Engineer (Voice AI)

Location: Remote in North America or onsite in Austin, Texas

Salary: $140,000–$200,000 per year, plus 0.05%–0.20% equity

What you will do

• Own product features end to end, from specification and prototyping through shipping and iteration across frontend and backend.
• Build customer workflows for voice-agent QA, including test creation, scenario management, evaluation results, analytics, debugging, and triage.
• Turn calls, transcripts, tool events, traces, and evaluation outputs into clear and actionable product experiences.
• Work directly with customers through onboarding and regular check-ins, translating reliability problems into measurable product improvements.
• Improve instrumentation, funnels, feedback loops, APIs, abstractions, and UI quality while maintaining high engineering velocity.
• Develop enterprise-ready capabilities such as RBAC, audit trails, data retention, and environment and region controls.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building customer-facing products in a high-velocity environment.
• Fluency in TypeScript and comfort working across React/Next.js frontends and Node services.
• Ability to ship quickly with disciplined coding, appropriate testing, clear specifications, and scalable technical decisions.
• Strong product instincts, user communication skills, and the ability to simplify complex workflows into clear UX.
• Experience designing for reliability, observability, failure modes, and data correctness.
• Must be based in North America for remote work, or work onsite in Austin, Texas.

Nice to have

• Experience building analytics-heavy products such as dashboards, event pipelines, or debugging tools.
• Familiarity with LLM applications, evaluations, tool calling, prompts, or guardrail systems.
• Experience with real-time systems, telecommunications, voice, or high-concurrency workflows.
• Strong interaction design, information architecture, and frontend performance skills.
