Operation Planner (Planning and Control)

Location: Veldhoven, Netherlands; onsite warehouse and logistics environment. The role follows a two-shift support schedule across four working days per week, with one fixed day off and one weekend shift every four weeks.

What you will do

• Monitor outbound deliveries and balance warehouse workload through wave planning, capacity rescheduling, delivery-priority changes, and stock-to-factory wave management.
• Coordinate shipments of machines, parts, and commercial packages, including transport requests, invoices, shipping documentation, packaging availability, and dock-board planning.
• Track shipment flows and resolve operational issues using D4E and SAP while coordinating with production planning, cleanroom logistics, material handling, warehouse staff, carriers, and freight operations.
• Manage inventory availability, material demand, stock transfer priorities, cycle-count activities, and logistical capacity alignment.
• Analyze planning trends, identify value-chain improvements, and participate in or lead continuous improvement projects with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Operations Management and Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management and hands-on experience in a technical production or warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of SAP and excellent skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Analytical, structured, pragmatic, and problem-solving approach with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication, stakeholder-management, teamwork, proactive decision-making, and process-improvement skills.
• Willingness to work two shifts, including occasional weekend shifts.
