Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; hybrid workplace with travel to supplier locations of up to 15%.

What you will do
- Manage the local supplier network, including supplier onboarding, offboarding, capacity planning, capability development, and performance management.
- Source, evaluate, qualify, and develop suppliers across CNC machining, injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, additive manufacturing, and related processes.
- Reduce single-source dependency, support supplier agreements and commercial negotiations, and assist with compliance activities.
- Monitor on-time delivery, non-conformances, order fulfillment, capacity utilization, and other supplier performance KPIs.
- Build supplier relationships, resolve escalated issues, and implement corrective actions and manufacturing best practices.
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Sourcing, Quality, and Legal to support growth and timely customer order fulfillment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, procurement, supplier management, manufacturing operations, or a related field.
- Experience working in manufacturing environments and evaluating supplier capabilities, production capacity, quality systems, and operational performance.
- Knowledge of sourcing, procurement, supplier management, capacity planning, logistics, inventory management, risk management, and business continuity planning.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, project management, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with ERP, MRP, CRM, supply chain systems, advanced Microsoft Excel, and data analysis.
Nice to have
- Advanced supply chain certifications such as APICS CSCP.
- Extensive experience with 3D printing, CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, injection molding, or technology sectors.
- Additional languages relevant to the region of operation.
