What you will do

• Develop and maintain Python scripts and libraries for simulation-data analysis, log extraction, telemetry processing, and performance metrics.
• Build automated test workflows, test adapters, configuration files, and scenario-generation utilities for autonomy testing.
• Create domain-randomization scripts that vary environmental, vehicle, sensor, mission, and operational parameters.
• Investigate simulation failures using logs, configuration files, telemetry, rosbags, network captures, and automated test results.
• Support containerized and distributed testing environments using Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and related infrastructure tools.
• Maintain CI/CD, dependency, source-control, build, documentation, and collaborative debugging workflows.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, aerospace engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical discipline; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
• Foundational Python development experience with scripting, automation, and data processing.
• Familiarity with Linux development environments, Git, code review, automated testing, debugging, structured data formats, and APIs.
• Exposure to simulation, robotics, autonomy, data pipelines, developer tooling, or CI/CD systems.
• Basic understanding of containers such as Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. SECRET security clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, matplotlib, Plotly, pytest, unittest, GoogleTest, or similar tools.
• Experience with Docker or Podman, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, distributed computing, or large-scale simulation workloads.
• Familiarity with ROS, ROS 2, rosbag files, telemetry formats, robotics middleware, network diagnostics, and simulation logs.
• Exposure to Ray, parallel task or actor-based computing, Monte Carlo testing, parameter sweeps, or Design of Experiments.
• Interest in generative AI, AI-assisted software development, agentic workflows, or developer productivity tooling.
