Information Analyst III (Healthcare Analytics)

Location: Remote/telecommuter from one of the listed US states: Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, or Wisconsin.

Salary: $81,100–$137,900 national salary range; $92,400–$157,100 national plus range for higher-cost labor markets including Western Washington and Alaska.

What you will do

• Partner with business stakeholders to define complex reporting needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Design, develop, document, maintain, and review data extracts, reports, and analyses for Underwriting management.
• Develop dashboards that communicate key metrics and trends.
• Analyze and resolve complex data, reporting, and peer-review issues while implementing effective solutions.
• Evaluate operational databases, data quality, productivity, and reporting processes; organize improvements and train team members.
• Coordinate analysts and lead work with other departments to deliver specific business goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Health Care Administration, or a related field, or four years of relevant work experience.
• At least five years of experience in data analytics and/or reporting.
• Strong SQL, Excel, Python, and Access skills.
• Knowledge of reporting or query programming languages, relational databases, data management, and technical writing.
• Strong problem definition, problem-solving, communication, and technical writing skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare, health insurance concepts, and industry terminology; ability to work independently and lead teams.

Nice to have

• At least three years of experience in a healthcare discipline.
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI.
