Senior Platform Engineer (AI)

Location: San Francisco or remote within the United States

Salary: $150K–$300K cash compensation with significant equity

hirify.global is building an open superintelligence stack with infrastructure and tools for training, evaluating, and deploying advanced AI models.

What you will do

• Build reusable infrastructure-as-code and reliable CI/CD workflows for platform services.
• Design cloud foundations covering compute, networking, identity, secrets, and service delivery.
• Develop self-service platform capabilities, templates, secure defaults, guardrails, and progressive rollout and rollback patterns.
• Define observability standards for metrics, logs, dashboards, and alerting using tools such as Grafana.
• Own platform SLOs, error budgets, and reliability priorities in partnership with service teams.
• Lead complex platform projects from technical design through adoption and steady-state operation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform, or security-focused engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tooling.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, IAM, secrets management, and CI/CD.
• Experience designing secure software delivery environments from development through production.
• Production experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platforms.
• Ability to debug across infrastructure layers, make sound trade-offs under ambiguity, communicate clearly, and lead cross-functional projects.

• Experience operating ML or LLM training and inference infrastructure.
• Exposure to GPU infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Experience with zero-trust access patterns.
• Experience supporting compliance or audit-readiness programs.
