Platform Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in New York City or San Francisco, United States

Salary: $250,000–$300,000 per year, plus equity

hirify.global is building an AI agent that helps B2B companies automate order management, credit, collections, payments, cash application, disputes, and deductions.

What you will do

• Put infrastructure under version-controlled, reviewed code and create a safe, auditable deployment process.
• Run and evolve multi-cloud networking, including address planning, private connectivity, peering, transit, VPNs, and secure access to private resources.
• Operate production Kubernetes and its delivery platform, including clusters, secrets, CI/CD, preview environments, and build performance.
• Own observability costs, alert quality, telemetry, and dashboard reliability.
• Drive security and compliance work to completion with audit-ready evidence.
• Operate production databases and lead infrastructure response, incident investigation, and forensics.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering with end-to-end ownership of production systems.
• Experience leading infrastructure-as-code adoption or cleanup in an existing environment, including imports, drift, and state management.
• Production Kubernetes experience in a multi-account cloud environment.
• Experience designing and debugging complex cloud networks and operating mission-critical relational databases.
• Experience building or rebuilding observability systems and controlling their costs.
• Experience closing security and compliance findings, such as SOC 2 findings, with audit-worthy evidence.

• Fintech or other regulated-industry experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise or customer-hosted deployments.
• Cost optimization experience at scale.
