Staff Technical Product Manager

Location: Remote - United States. Candidates residing in Alaska, Delaware, Iowa, Mississippi, Nebraska, South Dakota, West Virginia, or Wisconsin are not considered.

Salary: $169,000–$233,000 per year, depending on US location, skills, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and market conditions.

What you will do

• Own and prioritize the Business Technology Services roadmap across Finance, Supply Chain, Member Experience, Commercial, and Corporate domains.
• Unify BTS and Workato demand intake into a structured backlog and transparent prioritization process.
• Own API contracts, versioning, and integration-pattern decisions, including Workato versus custom AWS-native builds and synchronous versus event-driven designs.
• Translate technical trade-offs into investment narratives for executive and cross-functional audiences.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture on platform scope, Databricks data lakehouse integration, and data mesh enablement.
• Define requirements for MCP servers and AI agents and help establish the Integration & Automation Engineering team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of technical product or platform management experience, including ownership of infrastructure, integration, or API platforms.
• Strong technical background in specifications, OpenAPI, event schemas, API contracts, versioning, and build-versus-buy decisions.
• Working knowledge of AWS services including API Gateway, Lambda, EventBridge, Step Functions, SQS, and SNS.
• Direct experience with Workato, MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar iPaaS platforms, plus API design and contract management.
• Experience converting ambiguous stakeholder requests into buildable requirements and prioritizing roadmaps for multiple internal teams.
• Demonstrated daily use of LLM assistants and agentic tools such as Claude, Cursor, Claude Code, or Lovable, with verification of generated output.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI control planes, MCP gateways, or agent observability and policy layers.
• Experience with ERP integration or NetSuite decoupling in a growth-stage company.
• Familiarity with Databricks, data lakehouse, and data mesh architectures.
• Experience transitioning contractor-led functions into permanent platform teams.
