Staff Product Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, New York City, or Washington, DC; up to 20% travel may be required

Salary: $225,250–$265,000 annual base salary, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, customer experience, and measurable outcomes for NodeZero Rapid Response.
• Establish the operating model for monitoring emerging threats, prioritizing vulnerabilities, assessing customer relevance, validating exploitability, notifying customers, and supporting remediation and retesting.
• Define threat intelligence strategy across CVEs, CISA KEV, vendor advisories, public research, exploit repositories, and attacker activity.
• Partner with vulnerability researchers and attack engineers to evaluate exploit prerequisites, mitigations, affected products, and production-safety controls.
• Build customer-impact analysis, automation, integrations, reporting, and workflows across APIs, ticketing, SIEM/SOAR, and vulnerability management systems.
• Measure response time, test availability, alert precision, validation coverage, remediation, adoption, retention, and expansion outcomes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience building deeply technical B2B SaaS products.
• Significant cybersecurity experience in areas such as vulnerability management, exposure management, offensive security, incident response, SOC operations, attack surface management, endpoint security, or threat detection and response.
• Hands-on threat intelligence, vulnerability intelligence, threat research, or emerging-threat response experience is required.
• Strong understanding of CVEs, CISA KEV, vendor advisories, proof-of-concept exploits, exploitation in the wild, mitigations, remediation, and safe exploitability validation.
• Experience combining telemetry, intelligence, and customer context to produce actionable, high-confidence security decisions.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, product judgment, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience engaging with CISOs, vulnerability management teams, SOC teams, incident responders, security researchers, prospects, and partners.
• Experience with AI-assisted analysis, automated data collection, reusable exploit-development workflows, and production-safety quality gates.
