Software Product Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Remote; compensation benchmarked to Denver, Colorado. Must be eligible to obtain the authorizations required under U.S. ITAR regulations. Periodic domestic and international travel is required.

Base salary: $171,000–$194,000 annually, plus bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Own the product vision, business strategy, roadmap, market positioning, prioritization, packaging, and execution for the Space Domain Awareness software product.
• Research customer missions, operational workflows, market segments, buying behavior, and unmet needs across commercial and government users.
• Translate customer, mission, and business requirements into product capabilities, user experiences, requirements, and prioritized engineering work.
• Partner with Engineering throughout discovery, development, testing, release, and iteration while making investment decisions based on customer value, revenue potential, feasibility, and scalability.
• Collaborate with Sales, Business Development, Marketing, and Customer Success on demonstrations, proposals, pilots, launches, enablement, pricing, packaging, and go-to-market activities.
• Define product metrics and maintain alignment across functions while using customer feedback, competitive analysis, and market changes to guide scalable product growth.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience with software, data, analytics, enterprise, or other highly technical products.
• Professional experience in the space industry or a related aerospace, defense, or national-security environment.
• Experience owning products or major product areas from market discovery and strategy through development, launch, adoption, and iteration.
• Strong customer orientation, business judgment, analytical skills, prioritization ability, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working closely with software engineering teams and technical leaders throughout the product lifecycle.
• Eligibility to obtain the authorizations required under U.S. Government ITAR regulations; willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Nice to have

• Experience with Space Domain Awareness, Space Situational Awareness, Space Traffic Management, satellite operations, orbital analysis, or command and control.
• Experience building products for government, aerospace, defense, intelligence, or other highly technical markets.
• Knowledge of orbital mechanics, tracking data, conjunction assessment, maneuver detection, satellite behavior, or related space-domain concepts.
• Experience with data-intensive products, APIs, analytics platforms, event detection, visualization, or operational decision-support systems.
• Active U.S. Government security clearance or the ability and willingness to obtain and maintain one.
