Product Manager, Platform (AI)

Location: Remote, United States; up to approximately 5% travel for team meetings and other business needs.

Salary: $97,036–$123,000 per year, plus potential incentive, commission, or annual bonus pay.

What you will do

• Define the vision, strategy, roadmap, and success metrics for the centralized platform.
• Translate requirements from product, engineering, operations, and other internal stakeholders into scalable platform capabilities.
• Partner with engineering on technical trade-offs, investments, reliability, performance, and platform delivery.
• Lead the product lifecycle from discovery and requirements through launch, iteration, adoption, and optimization.
• Evolve rostering, SSO, partner integrations, and LMS connectivity using OneRoster, SAML, LTI, Canvas, Schoology, and Google Classroom.
• Use AI tools to prototype concepts, generate PRDs, analyze data, simulate user flows, and share practical AI product-management practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in education, business, technology, or a related field, with at least 5 years of product management experience, ideally with platform or infrastructure products, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with internal platforms or developer tools, software development, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and modern engineering practices.
• Proven AI adoption experience and hands-on experience with tools such as Figma Make, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Replit, v0, Lovable, or Bolt.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, product discovery, data-driven analysis, and online project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Smartsheet.
• Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, organizational, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills within a matrix organization.
• Must be located in the United States for this remote position. A valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and a clean driving record for the preceding 39 months are required for travel.

Nice to have

• Edtech industry experience.
• Experience with K–12 interoperability standards and integrations, including OneRoster, LTI 1.3/LTI Advantage, SAML, Clever, and ClassLink.
• Background in software engineering or computer science.
