Director of Product Management – Open USD Compliance and Onboarding (Stablecoins)

Location: US - San Francisco, CA. Hybrid position with office attendance expectations confirmed by the hiring manager; the role is performed in an office setting and requires 5–10% travel.

Salary: $203,800–$326,100 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and sales incentive payments where applicable.

What you will do

• Set the global product strategy and multi-year roadmap for Open USD compliance, KYB, onboarding, and partner data capabilities.
• Lead expansion into new regions by translating local regulatory, licensing, documentation, data, and risk requirements into scalable product capabilities.
• Own onboarding workflows covering business verification, case management, approval routing, remediation, periodic review, and lifecycle data management.
• Drive automation through reusable platform services, configurable workflows, decisioning, integrations, and measurable controls.
• Guide architecture priorities for KYB orchestration, third-party integrations, data governance, access controls, observability, resilience, and operational scale.
• Lead cross-functional teams and executive governance across product, engineering, compliance, legal, risk, operations, data, sales, and client services.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or 13+ years of relevant experience.
• Extensive experience leading digital product portfolios, platform strategies, and multi-year roadmaps in complex global organizations.
• Experience building compliance, KYB, onboarding, financial crime, identity, risk, or regulated financial-services products at scale.
• Deep knowledge of cryptocurrency and stablecoin ecosystems, permissionless blockchains, wallets, tokenized money, banking, and payment systems.
• Proven ability to influence executives, align global and regional stakeholders, establish governance, and lead cross-functional portfolios.
• Ability to work across multiple time zones and travel as needed; proficiency with tools such as Jira Align, Jira, process-mapping tools, and Postman or similar platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience with payments, money movement, treasury, settlement, digital assets, blockchain infrastructure, wallets, or tokenized money.
• Experience designing configurable KYB, onboarding, case-management, screening, or compliance platforms for multiple jurisdictions and risk tiers.
• Experience with developer portals, OpenAPI specifications, SDKs, sandbox environments, API analytics, observability, or client integration tooling.
• Familiarity with regulatory change management, control testing, audit support, and issue remediation in regulated environments.
