Maintenance Technician

What you will do

• Assist with preventive maintenance and repairs for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Maintain and repair pumps, chillers, boilers, air compressors, air handling units, fixtures, appliances, and building components.
• Use basic HVAC distribution and controls knowledge to resolve work orders.
• Participate in property water treatment programs and maintain central plant, chemical consumption, and equipment inspection logs.
• Support fire alarm and life safety system operations while providing concierge-style service to internal and external partners.
• Follow safety procedures, complete required training, and work assigned shifts, including possible evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in commercial building operations, property management, or a related industry preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read equipment manuals, use power tools, perform basic mathematics, and communicate effectively.
• High school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma preferred.
• EPA Universal Certification required within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more, climb stairs and ladders, access confined spaces, and work indoors and outdoors.
