Maintenance Specialist (Manufacturing)

Location: Hopkinsville, Kentucky, United States; on-site manufacturing maintenance role

What you will do

• Inspect, install, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair electro-mechanical equipment and facility systems.
• Assemble and disassemble equipment to diagnose malfunctions and repair or replace defective parts.
• Build, repair, and install structures such as partitions, cabinets, and doors using blueprints and hand or power tools.
• Maintain and repair plumbing fixtures, tanks, heaters, pipes, and joints.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and recommend improvements to electro-mechanical systems.
• Record work orders, maintain logs, track inventory, complete safety training, and support the Responsible Care Management System.

Requirements

• Vocational or technical school education and a completed certified apprenticeship.
• 5+ years of maintenance and repair experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical parts, machine tools, bearings, gears, and hand and power tools.
• Familiarity with mechanical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings, perform shop mathematics, and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
• Ability to work collaboratively, perform changing assignments, and work off shift or after hours as needed.
