Facilities Technician I

Location: On-site in New Port Richey, Florida, United States. Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, with some weekends, routine overtime, and occasional off-shift work.

What you will do

• Perform routine facility maintenance, including office furniture repairs, light fixture replacement, and air conditioning and heating system maintenance.
• Inspect facility systems and verify compliance with safety regulations and operating policies.
• Implement solutions when facility issues are identified.
• Support continuous improvement and operational readiness through equipment assembly, emergency repairs, and grounds maintenance.
• Work overtime, weekends, and off-shifts as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
• Knowledge of at least one trade: electrical, carpentry, plumbing, or an allied trade.
• Ability to follow instructions and read adjustable measuring instruments and gauges requiring interpretation.
• Ability to meet motor vehicle record and physical/environmental requirements, including occasional equipment operation.
• U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required.
• Ability to stand for 8 or more hours, climb, crawl, bend, kneel, lift and move materials, work at heights, and handle solvents, oils, and other chemicals.
